Vertal® 503D is a high-purity functional mineral additive that is ideal for putties and liquid compounds. Vertal® 202 is a highly lamellar talc/carbonate mineral pigment. Vertal® 202 provides a unique balance of prime pigment spacing (opacity), flatting efficiency, film reinforcement, anti-cracking, and barrier properties for architectural and decorative coatings. Vertal® 202 is recommended for architectural flat latex paints, contractor-grade flat latex paints, and high%PVC applications that require a brighter, 2-hegman, lamellar mineral pigment.

Vertal® 503 is especially suited for waterborne paints and primers where a 5-Hegman, low oil-adsorption, platy mineral pigment is required.
