Daybrook Fisheries Gulf Menhaden Fish Oil is sought after as a high quality aquaculture feed ingredient rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Generally menhaden yield in the range of 10-13% oil which are typically in the 20-24% range on EPA+DHA the top two omega-3 fatty acids but when you also include DPA then menhaden has a total of 23-25% of these highly sought after omega-3’s.

All of our fish oil is put through carbon cleaning process to remove environmental contaminants which allows us to be well under all global requirements for dioxins, PCB’s, pesticides, heavy metals and other contaminants that are found in the world’s oceans.  Daybrook quality oil is known for being very low in FFA and other oxidative tests such as Peroxide (PV) and Anisidine values (AV).

The Daybrook plant in Empire, LA is typically the largest processor of menhaden in the world and is HACCP certified by GMP+ and NOAA Fisheries. Daybrook is certified MarinTrust (IFFO-RS) by SAI Global as a responsible supplier. The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certified the Gulf Menhaden resource allowing Daybrook to sell all of its products under the coveted sustainability eco-label.
