Deepwater Chemicals Iodine (Crude) is used as a precursor in the production of several inorganic and organic derivatives. It is also used as an efficient catalyst in organic synthesis, as well as a disinfectant and anti-bacterial agent in solutions, tinctures, and salves. It is also used in x-ray contrast media. It is not permitted to manufacture clandestine chemicals.

Deepwater Chemicals n-Butyl Iodide is used as an alkylating agent in solvents and other intermediates. Subsurface preparation is used in the electronics industry.

Deepwater Chemicals Potassium Iodide (Tech) is an inorganic halogenated salt that is used to improve structural properties in the polymer industry. It is used as a corrosion inhibitor/acid intensifier in oilfield gas production, as a polarizer in x-ray films, as a nylon stabilizer in LCD manufacturing, as a trace mineral in animal feeds and/or dietary supplement, and as a food additive.
