The black seeds have been used in Ayurvedic medicine and cooking for thousands of years. Like the light variant, black sesame is rich in valuable ingredients. Easily digestible protein, fiber, around 50% oils and unsaturated fatty acids make organic sesame a wholesome food. The mineral content is just as remarkable.
