Preliminary phases:

  1. Prepare a 25% solution of Andean QD Ultra in deionised water under cupboard.
  2. Phase B: Mix the ingredients until clear solution.
  3. Phase D: Add Veegum HV to water and heat to 80°C while homogenizing with turbine and blades. At this temperature homogenize for 10’ and then start to cool to room temperature while mixing with blades.
  4. Phase E: Mix the ingredients until clear solution.

Addition scheme:

  1. In main mixer add ingredients A and mix until clear solution after each addition. Then add A1 and homogenize for 5’; then heat the phase to 40°C and at this temperature homogenize the phase for 5’.
  2. Add A2 and homogenize for 10’. Check homogeneity.
  3. Add phase B and homogenize with turbine and blades under vacuum for 5’.
  4. Add C and homogenize with turbine and blades under vacuum for 5’.
  5. Add phase D and homogenize with turbine and blades under vacuum for 5’.
  6. Add phase E and mix with blades for 5’. Take a sample for analytical controls.
