- Directions for Use
Surface Preparation: Surfaces should be clean, dry and free of dirt, oil, and any foreign matter.
Application: May be applied by brush, roller, or airless sprayer. Apply at a rate of 75 sq. ft. per gallon. Spray gun application should coat surface thoroughly and evenly with one application; apply second coat to porous or irregular surfaces. Brush or roller application requires two coats applied at 90 degrees. HVAC systems should be under negative air pressure during applicaton. Circulate fresh air through the system to dry coating. Air should be odorless and filters replaced before venting into occupied areas. For interior HVAC fiberglass edge coating applications, brush or spray 2510 - Black Duct Liner And Line Set Protective Coating into cut edges of fiberglass. Apply sufficient product to thoroughly coat all exposed fiberglass. Where possible, coated edges should face downstream. Apply metal nosing as required by SMACNA.
