Deuteron ND 960 HF

1 of 86 products in this brand
Deuteron ND 960 HF is a wetting and viscosity reducing additive. Even small additions to unsaturated polyester resins allow for an increase of pigment/filler content respectively a better dispersability.According to the above meutioned properties Deuteron ND 960 HF is suitable when binder systems shall be highly filled and the wetting properties of the binders are insufficient. Therefore the most suggested use of Deuteron ND 960 HF is in manufacturing of fillers or mastics based on unsaturated polyester/reactive solvent (such as styrene) systems. Deuteron ND 960 HF has both a positive impact on the dispersing process and on the substrate wetting. back

Applications

According to the above meutioned properties Deuteron ND 960 HF is suitable when binder systems shall be highly filled and the wetting properties of the binders are insufficient.

Dosage

A dosage of about 0,1 to 0,5 % is recommended, but should not exceed 1 % (calculated on the binder solution). The exact dosage should be determined by own trials.

Processing

Deuteron ND 960 HF should be added to the resin component before the dispersing process. You may add Deuteron ND 960 HF into the binder solution through simple mixing. When an addition after dispersing (immediately prior to the addition of the hardener) is wanted, proper mixing is necessary
