Features & Benefits

Applications & Uses

Application
  • Antioxidant and polymerization stopper for the production of styrene-butadiene and acrylonitrile rubbers.
  • For the distillation systems of large-tonnage monomers (eg styrene, butadiene), as a measure preventing the columns from fouling up by polymers, the so-called popcorn.
  • Active agent protecting against corrosion and scale deposits in heating systems and as an effective oxygen reducer from water in the power industry.
  • A fast-working developer in color and X-ray photography.
  • Preparation passivating medium and heavy fuels in refineries prior to oxidation during storage.
