Applications & Uses

Application: DOX-1 is used in tires and in products made of rubber, such as portable belts, O-rings, hoses, washers, seals, wiper blades, to ensure long-term protection.

DOX-1 is a permanent anti-ozonant, powerful antioxidant and anti-cracking agent against multiple crush for many natural and synthetic elastomers. It is a particularly strong antiozonant for polychloroprene.

DOX-1, compared to other p-phenylenediamines, has the lowest effect on premature vulcanization and the degree of vulcanization of components based on natural rubber, SBR, polybutadiene, and polychloroprene.

DOX-1 is the least staining p-phenylenediamine on the market.

Safety & Health

Safety and Handling: According to EEC regulations, practically not harmful if swallowed

Acute oral toxicity LD 50 (rat) 4 g / kg.

No skin or eye irritation under normal production conditions.

There have been no reports of human skin irritation.

DOX-1 can also be used for food contact articles in accordance with FDA 175.105 (adhesives) and 177.2600 (rubber products).

Transport regulations: UN 3077, 9, III.

Shelf Life: Shelf life of at least 2 years if stored in their original packaging.
