Identification & Functionality
- Molecular formula
- RC₆H₄NHC₆H₄NHC₆H₄R.R=HorCH₃
- EC No.
- 273-227-8
- Chemical Name
Mixture of Diaryl-p-phenylenediamines
Applications & Uses
- Application
- DOX-1 is used in tires and in products made of rubber, such as portable belts, O-rings, hoses, washers, seals, wiper blades, to ensure long-term protection.
- DOX-1 is a permanent anti-ozonant, powerful antioxidant and anti-cracking agent against multiple crush for many natural and synthetic elastomers. It is a particularly strong antiozonant for polychloroprene.
- DOX-1, compared to other p-phenylenediamines, has the lowest effect on premature vulcanization and the degree of vulcanization of components based on natural rubber, SBR, polybutadiene, and polychloroprene.
- DOX-1 is the least staining p-phenylenediamine on the market.
