DOGAL KIMYEVI MADDELER APRAUNT 400 SC

Dogal Kimyevi Maddeler Apraunt 400 SC is an 'insect growth regulator' (IGR) insecticide containing the active substance of Buprofez and is effective by contact and stomach. It causes death by slowing down the skin change of nymphs and larvae. Larvae that cannot synthesize chitin cannot change their coat and die. In addition, the egg-laying rate of the adults exposed to the plant protection product decreases. With these features, Apraunt 400 SC is a plant protection product recommended in integrated control programs.

Usage of the Plant Protection Product

  • Considering the density of whitefly against tobacco whitefly in cotton, the struggle should be started when there are 10 larvae + pupae per leaf.

  • In order to determine the application time against pomegranate whitefly in pomegranate, counts are made by checking the lower surfaces of the leaves on the skirt branches as of the beginning of May in the spring.

  • If the total number of eggs, larvae and pupae is 10 or more per leaf, the application is decided.

  • If there are at least 3 live citrus whitefly individuals (egg, nymph and pupa) per leaf in the counts made against citrus whitefly in citrus, chemical control is applied.

  • If necessary, the second application is made from the second half of August against the second generation.

  • If it is done in accordance with the application technique, one application is sufficient.

Resistance Management
  • The plant protection product named this product is an Insecticide classified as Group 16 according to its mechanism of action.
  • Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance.
  • Therefore, in order to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the recommended total number of applications of Apraunt 400 SC in the same production season.
  • In cases where the application needs to be repeated, pay attention to the use of plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (except for Group 16).
