Usage of the Plant Protection Product

In Zucchini and Eggplant:

  • The area found to be infested with tobacco whitefly and opposite whitefly is entered from the diagonal direction.
  • 50 leaves are collected from the lower, middle and upper leaves every five steps.
  • Chemical control is applied when there are 5 larvae + pupa per leaf.

In Tomatoes, Lentils and Chickpeas:

  • Eggs and larvae are searched in the flowers, leaves, stems, fruits and shoots of the plant by entering the field from the diagonal direction and checking 50-100 plants according to the size of the field.
  • If 5 out of 100 plants are found to be contaminated, the application is made.

Against the Bean Aphid:

  • A random leaf is plucked from the fresh leaves and shoots of the plants every 3-5 steps by entering the field in the diagonal direction. As a result of the counts made with loops on 25-50 leaves of legumes, if the number of pests per leaf is 10-20, it is necessary to start the struggle.
  • Applications against apple worms in apples should be guided by the prediction and early warning system. The goal in the control of apple locusts is to kill the hatched larvae before they enter the fruit by keeping the trees with pesticides during the larvae emergence of each generation.
  • If there are 4 clusters of larvae that have penetrated into the epidermis or meshed in the 100 leaf bouquet that will represent the garden, the application is made .

Against Poke in the Vineyard:

  • It should be done 10 and 30 days after the first larvae come out of the winter and come to the awakening buds of the vine in the spring.
  • The application times against the cluster moth in the vineyard are determined according to the prediction-warning system.
  • For larvicide application, the number of butterflies caught in the traps should reach its peak and begin to decrease, the effective temperature total should be 120 degrees in the first generation, the twilight temperatures should be 15°C and above for 2 consecutive days, and this situation should continue in the following days.
  • The total effective temperature should reach 520 days-degrees in the 2nd generation, 1047 days-degrees in the 3rd generation, the vine phenology should be in the flower bud in the 1st generation, the grove in the 2nd generation, and in the beginning of sweetening in the 3rd generation.
  • When the first larval emergence is seen, the application is decided. An application is made for each generation.
  • The application is made when all the eggs laid by the offspring adults overwintering against the pear psyllid in the pear are hatched, the second and third instar nymphs begin to appear and more than 15% of the shoots are infected.
  • When 20-30 nymphs per leaf are seen as a result of weekly counts against pistachio psyllid in 100 compound leaves, the application should be made before the first adult parasitoid emergence and a sticky layer (fumagine) on the leaf surface when most of the eggs hatch.
  • The average daily temperature against potato beetle in potatoes is 14-15 °C.
  • When it reaches the field, it is entered in the direction of its diagonals and the eggs, larvae and adults of the pest are searched in the furnaces.
  • The presence of any period indicates that the field is contaminated.
  • If the application will be made against the first generation, it should be done when the first mature larvae (fourth period) are seen in the plants.
  • In case of application to the second offspring, the completion of egg hatching should be waited. In this period, the application may not be necessary, as the damage due to the insect density can be tolerated by the plant.
  • However, as a result of the researches, 20% of the damage caused by the potato beetle on the leaves of the potato plant can be tolerated by the plant and there is no decrease in the product.
  • This rate goes up to 40% depending on the phonological period and development of the plant.

Against the Weevil in Lentils:

  • It is applied once during dry periods and when the pest density is high, when the plants are 5-10 cm tall.
  • In the very adult struggle against Apion in lentils, the application is made when there is an average of 3-5 adults or more per m2, when there are 3 or more larval flower buds per plant for the larva, or when there is more than 10% contamination in the apical buds.
  • It should be applied in very intense contaminations against mantle beetle in lentils.
  • Application is made when the first egg is detected against corn cob worm in maize.
  • After the first application, 2 more applications are made with an interval of 15 days.
  • Some counts and evaluations are made after sunn pest and sunn pest are planted in the field.
  • As a result, chemical control is decided, in cereals, the application is made 10 days after the emergence from the soil (the stalking period) against the cereal proboscis beetle.
  • Surface spraying is done against crop hump beetle in cereals.
  • In case of an increase in the number of adults of olive flies caught in sufficient hits and traps, chemical control should be carried out.
  • The application time against olive black cochlea in olives is determined according to the active larvae emergence.
  • For this purpose, in the gardens where the application will be made, the females with eggs belonging to that year on the shoots of 20-25 cm from 4 sides of the tree that will represent the garden are checked and active larvae hatching from the eggs is determined.
  • The first application is made in the period when 50% of the eggs are opened, and the second application is made in the period when 90% of the eggs are opened.
  • It is not recommended to apply in the flower seed of the pest against olive moth in olives.
  • However, if more than 10% damage is seen on leaves and new shoots at the beginning of the season in years when the crop is low, an application is made to the flower generation 7-10 days after the first butterflies are caught in the flower generation.
  • Preferably, it should be applied only against fruit progeny.
  • Application is made when there are live eggs + larvae in 10% of the checked lentil-sized fruits,
  • It is necessary to apply within 7-10 days after the first adult is caught in visual yellow sticky traps against cherry fly.
Resistance Management
  • This is an Insecticide classified as (Group 3A) according to its mechanism of action.
  • Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance.
  • Therefore, in order to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the recommended total number of applications of Dekagard 25 EC in the same production season.
  • In cases where the application needs to be repeated, pay attention to the use of plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (except for Group 3A).
Compatibility
  • It is recommended to make premix trials before mixing large quantities for application.
