Usage of the Plant Protection Product
  • Elma - Apple Worms:
    • Applications to be made should be guided by a forecasting and early warning system.
    • The goal in the control of apple locusts is to kill the hatched larvae before they enter the fruit by keeping the trees with pesticides during the larvae emergence of each generation.
  • Pear - Pear Psyllid:
    • It is applied when all the eggs laid by the overwintering progeny adults are hatched, the second and third instar nymphs begin to appear and more than 15% of the shoots are infected.
  • Olive - Olive Moth:
    • It is not recommended to apply to the flower offspring of the pest.
    • However, if more than 10% damage is seen on leaves and new shoots per season in years when the crop is low, an application is made to the flower generation 7-10 days after the first butterflies are caught in the flower generation.
    • Preferably, it should be applied only against fruit progeny.
    • Application is made when there are live eggs + larvae in 10% of the checked lentil-sized fruits.
  • Before applying against pine processionary, necessary permission must be obtained.
Resistance Management
  • The plant protection product named Dorex 25 WP is an insecticide classified as Group 15 according to its mechanism of action.
  • Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance.
  • For this reason, do notexceed the recommended total number of applications of Dorex 25 WP in the same production season in order to delay the development of resistance.
  • In cases where the application needs to be repeated, pay attention to the use of plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (except for Group 15).
Compatibility
  • It is recommended to make premix trials before mixing large quantities for application.
