Usage of the Plant Protection Product
  • In order to determine the spraying time against aphids in Pepper (Greenhouse), Tomato (Greenhouse), Cucumber (Greenhouse) and Zucchini (Greenhouse), entering the production area in diagonal directions, one each of the fresh leaves and shoots of the plants is cut in 3-5 steps, and an average of 20-40 leaves per leaf is taken.
  • Application is made when 10-20 pests are seen.
  • However, parasitoids and predators should be observed and the effectiveness of beneficials should be considered before deciding to apply.
  • If beneficial insects are common with aphids in field controls against cotton aphid in cotton, the application should be postponed.
  • Application is recommended when 50% infected seedlings are detected after thinning in the seedling period and 25 aphids are detected on a leaf in the field period.
  • Against peach aphid in peach, application should be made when 7 infested branches are found in 50 trees, from the appearance of flower buds until ¾ of the population turns into winged form.
Durability Management
  • If resistant breeds develop, the application may not be effective.
  • To reduce the potential for growth of resistant pests on this product, use interchangeably with a different group of plant protection products with a different mode of action.
  • Resilience management strategy; Apply this product no more than 2 times in a row.
  • Then alternate with other plant protection products.
Information on Resistance
  • The plant protection product named Griva 50 WG is an insecticide classified as Group 29 according to its mechanism of action.
  • Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance.
  • For this reason, do not exceed the recommended total number of applications of Griva 50 WG in the same production season in order to delay the development of resistance.
  • In cases where the application needs to be repeated, pay attention to the use of plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (except for Group 29).
Compatibility
  • It should not be mixed with strong alkalis such as burgundy slurry.
  • It is recommended to make premix trials before mixing large quantities for application.
