Domino Specialty Ingredients Direct Compacting and Tableting Sugar

Di-Pac® Direct Compacting and Tableting Sugar is a unique co-crystallized product that provides direct compressibility and enhanced flowability, solubility, dispersion. Our proprietary co-crystallization process produces a sponge-like structure with vast increased surface area. Because Di-Pac® is porous, it provides uniform blending and even distribution of the active ingredients, which improves dispersion and reduces or eliminates the need for disintegrants. Di-Pac® displays a remarkable array of qualities that are desirable for excipients used in tableting including no stratification or clumping of active ingredients, high compressibility and it remains free flowing due to its low hygroscopicity. It helps extend the shelf life of the end product for applications including tableting and soft chews. Di-Pac® is highly inert and will not react with most active ingredients because it contains no invert sugar and had a moisture level of less that 1%. Di-Pac® meets the requirements of the National Formulary (NF) for compressible sugars. ASR-Group Specialty also carries a full line of NF Sugars.
