CELLOSIZE™ thickeners are nonionic, water soluble, cellulosic polymers suitable for a wide range of applications. CELLOSIZE™ products form clear solutions in water and are cold water dispersible. They also offer good electrolyte tolerance and are stable over a wide pH range (3-10). CELLOSIZE™ thickeners have &gt;50% bio-based carbon by weight and are offered in two different product families.CELLOSIZE™ Hydroxyethyl Cellulose products allow you to modify rheology and build pleasing textures in shampoos, conditioners, body washes, hair colorants, creams and lotions, skin cleansers and more.CELLOSIZE™ Texture products are multifunctional, water-soluble polymers that enhance foams, form films, thicken, and stabilize. Applications include body washes and facial cleansers, shampoos, liquid hand soaps, shaving creams and foams, hair styling mousses and sulfate-free cleansing products.

DOWSIL(TM) 9040 Silicone Elastomer Blend is a mixture of crosslinked silicone elastomer in cyclopentasiloxane. It provides dry smoothness, quick absorption, and a light silky feel on the skin. DOWSIL(TM) 9040 Silicone Elastomer Blend can be used as a thickening agent in water-in-oil and water-in-silicone formulations, and it is compatible with a variety of lipophilic active ingredients such as fragrances, sunscreens, vitamins, and vitamin derivatives.

DEXCARE™ CD-1 Polymer is a quaternary ammonium salt of dextran. This renewable bio-derived polysaccharide is a highly effective deposition aid for beneficial agents such as silicones or natural oils. The dextran backbone is fermented from natural, renewable sources. This product is used in shampoos and body washes.

OPULYN(TM) 301 Opacifier is an anionic styrene/acrylic copolymer supplied at 40% solids. It delivers a rich, lotionized appearance in formulations. OPULYN(TM) 301 Opacifier has broad formulation compatibility and excellent stability. It best suited for formulations based on anionic surfactant systems such as shower gels, shampoos, and fatty-acid based liquid hand soaps.

XIAMETER(TM) PMX-1413 Fluid is an ultra-high viscosity dimethicone delivered in a low viscosity dimethicone carrier fluid. In hair applications it provides smoothness, slipperiness, and heat protection. In skin care applications this product provides film barrier properties with a long lasting lubricious and velvety skin feel.

DOWSIL(TM) FZ-3196 Fluid is a caprylyl branched trisiloxane that offers a light silky feel, excellent spreadability, and moderate volatility. DOWSIL(TM) FZ-3196 Fluid also has excellent compatibility with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients, which allows this product to offer a unique set of benefits. It can serve as a co-solubilizer between silicone and hydrocarbon fluids. It can improve the spreadability and reduce the tackiness of vegetable oils. DOWSIL(TM) FZ-3196 Fluid is effective as a carrier fluid for colored pigments and mineral UV filters. The excellent compatibility of DOWSIL(TM) FZ-3196 Fluid is also useful for removing makeup from the skin.

This unique compound blends the physical and chemical attributes of silicone wax and silicone resin, offering enhanced non-transfer properties. It acts as a semi-occlusive material and finds versatile application across various cosmetic products, including color cosmetics, skincare, sun care, and hair care formulations.

DOWSIL(TM) CB-3046 Fluid is an optimized blend of silicones specifically developed to provide a variety of benefits in hair care including shine, frizz control, heat protection, curl definition, and improved styling. It has been designed for leave-in conditioners such as creams, lotions, cuticle coats, pomades and non-aerosol sprays.

XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 500,000 cSt is a high-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane polymer that is primarily used for foam control in nonaqueous processes. In petroleum processing, it provides effective foam control at extremely low dosage levels. This product is also suitable for use in personal care applications. The high-molecular-weight dimethicone provides easy combing and detangling for wet or dry hair and adds softness, smoothness, and gloss.

DOWSIL(TM) 5562 Carbinol Fluid is a carbinol-functional silicone fluid. This material is unique due to its polar organic substituents. The silicone and organic combination provides multiple benefits in personal care applications. This moderately polar material has a novel compatibility profile. This product also acts as a superior suspension aid for pigments, salts, and sunscreens.
