- The gelcoat demonstrates excellent thermal and chemical resistance when contacting a wide range of alkaline as well as acid environments. When used in the course of production with fire-retarding resins (Devinyl 950TG, Devinyl 950TG 2, Depol T-810) this gelcoat confers fire-retarding properties to the manufactured laminate.
- Laminates, produced on the basis of this gelcoat, possess high flame retardance (GOST 12.1.044-89 certificate of conformity is available) in combination with high strength and resistance to alternating loads.
- Well-balanced rheological properties of the gelcoat facilitate its hand application as well as spraying process. Despite its high pigmentation and antipyrene fillers, the gelcoat doesn’t slope down vertical surfaces even if the applied layer reaches 1000 microns.
- Ideal for manufacture of gas ducts and fume ducts, vent hoods, operated and maintained in conditions of aggressive environments and high temperatures, as well as for chemically resistant containers. Manufacture of various products, such as interior trim in means of transportation, as well as production of load-bearing structures of road, rail and electric means of transportation, survival capsules at ships and drilling rigs.
- Used for manufacture of gas ducts, vent hoods, operating in conditions of aggressive environments and high temperatures, elements of exterior decoration, interior trim in railway and automobile transport
Application Method: Hand lay up molding. The reduced viscosity version is designed for the RTM technologies.
