Dynacast Industrial Products Butyl Rubber - BUTYI has a very high impermeability to gasses and is used for the inner tubes of pneumatic tires, and in vacuum and high pressure applications. It has an unusually broad loss peak so that, despite having a glass transition temperature as low as -65C, it displays high damping at ambient temperatures. Butyl Rubber has good ozone, weathering, heat and chemical resistance. It is not suitable for use in contact with mineral oils. Butyl rubber has low resilience at ambient temperatures and is suitable for damping applications.

Dynacast Industrial Products Chloroprene Rubber-CR has several types of polychloroprene. Chloroprene rubber mechanical properties are generally inferior to natural rubber but with superior chemical properties. Over time crystallization results in hardening at temperatures about -10 degree C. CR has very good resistance to ozone. It also has good flame retardance and good tackiness.

Dynacast Industrial Products Polyurethane Rubber - PU has good impact, abrasion, heat and chemical resistance with strong tensile strength. Polyurethane Rubber's upper temperature limit is typically 80C. They have excellent resistance to weathering and oxidation. They resist hydrocarbon fuels and mineral oils but some grades hydrolyse in hot water. They are one of the best rubbers for abrasion resistance and are therefore used in reciprocating seals. Some grades are castable.
