Applications:EZ FLAT AQ is an easy to use stir-in dispersion which provides consistent gloss reduction.
- EZ FLAT AQ reduces unwanted dust associated with processing dry silica during the manufacturing or compounding process.
- EZ FLAT AQ contains amorphous silica for flatting and a polyolefin blend for scratch, scuff and polish resistance.
- The polyolefin blend also provides additional anti-blocking properties when used in topcoats.

- Suggested Incorporating Techniques: EZ FLAT AQ should always be mixed prior to use. In most cases it will be more viscous than the systems in which it will be used. Because of this, we recommend pre-mixing it by diluting it with 5 to 10% water, then added slowly into the batch while it is under agitation.
- Typical Usage Levels
- Typical Usage Levels:Use ranges from 5.0 to 15.0%. Use levels are dependent upon the type of resin for the EZ FLAT AQ incorporation. Other factors include film thickness and dry time.
