When our company founder and managing director Kurt Engelhardt (2008) first dealt with the treatment of waste water in the mid-1970s, he certainly did not believe in the subsequent success of his work. As a textile engineer and operator of a laundry for machine cleaning cloths, he saw himself confronted with a wide variety of problems related to this complex topic. Even then, conventional and classic processes for the treatment of waste water - such as the use of iron-III-chloride, lime and polymeric flocculants - appeared to be neither economical nor efficient, because they required a great deal of work. Compliance with pH values ​​and other officially required limit values ​​- especially in the area of ​​heavy metals - made treatment more difficult due to inadequate systems, Measurement and control technology in addition. A better solution was needed - this is how the idea of ​​the reaction release agent was born, and today we can proudly and rightly call Kurt Engelhardt the father of it.
