Applications: PEL-SIL PEG-8 makes very stable formulations, is a good wetting agent, requires low usage levels and is compatible with a wide range of other materials. Typical use level in most products is 1 to 5%. PEL-SIL PEG-8 is an excellent water-soluble sensory enhancer for carbomerand acrylates-thickened formulations, especially with clear appearance like alcohol-based hand sanitizing gels. Recommended use level for this application is 1%.
