EOS LsT Stone Sealer is a unique, waterborne, non-flammable polysiloxane / copolymeric penetrating sealer. It is specifically engineered for the treatment of Limestone & Sandstone for the purpose of providing water repellency. EOS LsT Stone Sealer provides superior long-term protection against the elements, such as humidity and moisture, in addition it is resistant to acids and highly alkaline compounds. The product will reduce or eliminate structural deterioration where it is applied.

Technology

The EOS - LsT systems utilize unique polysiloxanes coupled with proprietary technologies to provide high performance products that are environmentally safe. EOS - LsT is a highly reactive, cross linked polysiloxane copolymer formulation that is capable of substantial penetration rates into the stone. The formula attaches itself to the substrate particles by electrochemical means. During the curing process the system reacts with certain elements in the substrate to form a subsurface vapor permeable elastomeric membrane. The membrane allows the treated matter to breathe normally while impeding moisture and contaminants from spreading, wetting and absorption through capillary channeling.

Surface Preparation

The material to be treated should be dry and free of non-integral dust, dirt, or salt. If being applied to an existing structure, the substrate should be thoroughly washed to remove all efflorescence, dirt, mildew and fungi. Allow adequate time for drying prior to application. 

Method of Application

EOS LsT Stone Sealer can be applied by means of spraying with a conventional, airless (60 psi or below), or Hudson pump up type sprayer. Make sure the limestone and/or sandstone to be treated is dry (15% moisture content maximum). Agitate the sealer as indicated on the label; utilize as is. Do not dilute or otherwise alter the material.
