Founded in 1954, Enflo is a PTFE specialized solution provider with proven expertise in manufacturing Virgin, Reprocessed and Filled (Enflon®) PTFE basic shapes. Enflo manufactures PTFE molded sheets, skived sheets, tape, extruded rod and tubing, molded cylinders and rod in standard and custom sizes using PTFE resins and fill materials to fit our customers’ needs.

Enflo serves a wide range of industries such as construction and bridges, food and beverage, oil and gas, electronics, automotive, aerospace and defense, chemical, energy, and industrial, where high quality products built by proven manufacturing operations are critical for success.

We have two manufacturing plants working for our worldwide customer base. U.S. customers are serviced by Enflo LLC in Bristol, Connecticut, and Canada/International customers are serviced by Enflo Canada Ltd., in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada."

Enflon

Virgin PTFE provides a low-friction, non-stick surface suitable for use in high-temperature and high-dielectric applications. PTFE Film and PTFE Sheets are available in roll form or cut to size sheets and can be supplied etched one-side, etched two-side or with a self-adhesive acrylic backing (pressure-sensitive tape).

Enflo Virgin PTFE

Enflon® 101 is 5% glass fiber. Milled glass fibers have the least effect on chemical and electrical properties and add greatly to the mechanical properties of unfilled PTFE. The addition of glass improves compressive properties by as much as 40% and improves wear resistance greatly. These compounds resist acids and oxidation, but can be attacked by alkalis.

Enflon® 101

Enflon® 130 is 5% carbon. Carbon has good chemical resistance to corrosive environments. It exhibits good initial wear and rubbing or sliding contact characteristics, both dry and water applications. It is frequently used in piston rings to reduce cylinder wall wear by entrapping abrasive foreign particles in their relatively soft surfaces.

Enflon® 110 is 5% graphite. Graphite offers improved chemical resistance to corrosive environments and exhibits good initial wear and rubbing/sliding characteristics in dry and water applications. Graphite is commonly blended with carbon and PTFE.

Enflon® 110

Enflon® 115 is 25% bronze. This filler has better wear, creep resistance, and higher thermal conductivity than glass fiber with PTFE. The compound is easily machined, but has poor chemical resistance in the presence of acids and alkali. Useful in applications which undergo high mechanical loads or high-speed rubbing contacts where the bronze filler supplies the strength and conductivity to carry away excess, unwanted heat.

Enflon® 168 is gold in color, this material is used for low abrasion and used against soft surfaces.  Low coefficient of friction and designed to run dry without lubrication.  Alternative to Rulon® J.

Enflon® 166 is maroon in color, this material provides high wear resistance and low friction in a continuous, non-lubricated service.    Good dielectric and insulation properties.  Excellent choice for bearings, gaskets and high pressure applications requiring robust components.  Alternative to Rulon® LR.
