Bolivian Quinoa is a food product native to the Andes that the Incas recognized as their main food source due to its abundance in nutrients. In fact they considered it sacred and miraculous. Quinoa has been part of the diet in South America for thousands of years, and recently has become renowned as a “super food.” Many organizations define it as “the perfect food for the human being,” because it has the eight essential amino acids and an exceptional balance of proteins, fats and carbohydrates.
