Application Technique
Directions For Use
  • Apply this product only as specified on this label.
  • Do not contaminate food or feedstuffs.
  • Do not use in aircraft cabins.
  • Not for use in outdoor residential misting systems (indoor or outdoor).
  • Except when applying with an automatic space spray system or as a wide area mosquito adulticide, do not enter or allow others to enter until sprays have dispersed, and the treated area has been thoroughly ventilated. Do not remain in treated area. Exit area immediately and remain outside the treated area until sprays have dispersed.
  • Except when applying with an automatic space spray system or as a wide area mosquito adulticide, do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the treated area during application. Remove or cover exposed food (except when applying to post-harvest commodities) and drinking water before application.
  • Remove or cover dishes, utensils, food contact surfaces of food processing equipment and food preparation surfaces or wash them before use. For indoor food handling/processing facilities: Do not make space spray applications when facility is in operation.
  • Except when applying to post-harvest commodities, prior to space spray applications, cover or remove food. Prior to space spray applications cover food processing surfaces or clean after treatment and before use. Do not apply more than 1 time per day. For automatic space spray systems: Not for use in residential areas. Do not use in nurseries or rooms where infants, ill or aged persons are confined.
  • Except when applying to post-harvest commodities, do not place nozzles directly over or within 8 feet of exposed food, dishes, utensils, food contact surfaces of food processing equipment and food handling or preparation surfaces. Do not install within 3 feet of air vents. Carefully follow directions for the dispenser unit and when recharging with product or conducting maintenance.
  • For indoor agricultural premises, commercial animal housing and equipment and direct application to non-domestic animals/livestock: Do not apply more than 1 time per day. When used in dairy barns or facilities: Close milk bulk tank lids to prevent contamination from spray and from dead or falling insects. Remove or cover milking utensils before applications. Wash teats of animals before milking.
  • For post-harvest applications to vegetables: Do not reapply within 7 days. Do not apply more than 10 times to sweet potatoes. For post-harvest applications to stored grain and seed: Do not reapply within 30 days.
  • For food stored in bags: Direct application to food contact surfaces is prohibited.
  • For wide area mosquito adulticide applications: For use by federal, state, tribal, or local government officials responsible for public health or vector control, or by persons certified in the appropriate category or otherwise authorized by the state or tribal lead pesticide regulatory agency to perform adult mosquito control applications, or by persons under their direct supervision.
  • Remove pets, birds and cover fish aquariums before spraying.
  • In hospitals, remove patients from room prior to treatment. Thoroughly ventilate room for at least 2 hours after application. Do not return patient to room until after ventilation.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Mixers, loaders, applicators and other handlers must wear the following

  • Long-sleeve shirt
  • Long pants
  • Shoes and socks

In addition to the above PPE, applicators using hand held foggers in an enclosed area must wear a half-face, full-face or hood-style NIOSH-approved respirator with

  • A dust/mist filtering cartridge (MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-21C), or
  • A canister approved for pesticides (MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-14G), or
  • A cartridge or canister with any R, P or HE filter.
User Safety Recommendations
  • Users should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet.
  • Users should remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.
  • Users should remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.
Environmental Hazards

This product is toxic to aquatic organisms, including fish and invertebrates. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwater or rinsate. See Directions for Use for additional precautions and requirements.

Storage and Disposal

Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal.

Pesticide Storage: Store this product in its original container in a cool, dry (preferably locked) place away from heat or open flame in an area that is inaccessible to children and animals.

Pesticide Disposal: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.

Container Disposal: Non-refillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available or reconditioning if appropriate, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or by other procedures approved by state and local authorities.
