Application Technique
Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

USE RESTRICTIONS

  • Apply this product only as specified on this label,
  • Do not contaminate of food or feedstuffs
  • Do not use in aircraft cabins
  • Not for use in outdoor residential misting systems (indoor or outdoor).
  • When using this product, installers and service technicians must comply with the license, certification, or registration requirements of the state(s), tribe(s), or local authority(ies) where they are installed.
  • Except when applying with an automatic space spray system, do not enter or allow others to enter until sprays have dispersed, and the treated area has been thoroughly ventilated.
  • Do not remain in treated area. Exit area immediately and remain outside the treated area until sprays have dispersed. Except when applying with an automatic space spray system, do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the treated area during application. Remove or cover exposed food (except when applying to post-harvest commodities - see list of commodities below) and drinking water before application. Remove or cover dishes, utensils, food contact surfaces of food processing equipment and food preparation surfaces or wash them before use.
  • For indoor food handling/processing facilities: Do not make space spray applications when facility is in operation. Except when applying to post-harvest commodities, prior to space spray applications, cover or remove food. Prior to space spray applications, cover food processing surfaces or clean after treatment and before use. Do not apply more than 1 time per day.
  • For automatic space spray systems: Not for use in residential areas. Do not use in nurseries or room where infants, ill or aged persons are confined. Except when applying to post-harvest commodities, do not place nozzles directly over or within 8 feet of exposed food, dishes, utensils, food contact surfaces of food processing equipment and food handling or preparation surfaces. Do not install within 3 feet of air vents. Carefully follow directions for the dispenser unit and when recharging with product or conducting maintenance.
  • For indoor agricultural premises, commercial animal housing and equipment and direct application to non-domestic animals/livestock: Do not apply more than 1 time per day.
  • When used in dairy barns or facilities: Close milk bulk tank lids to prevent contamination from spray and from dead or falling insects. Remove or cover milking utensils before applications. Wash teats of animals before milking.
  • For post-harvest applications to vegetables: Do not reapply within 7 days. Do not apply more than 10 times to sweet potatoes

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Mixers, loaders, applicators and other handlers must wear the following

  • Long-sleeve shirt
  • Long pants
  • Shoes and socks

In addition to the above PPE, applicators using hand held foggers in an enclosed area must wear

  • A particulate respirator with any N, R or P filter with NIOSH approval prefix TC-84A, or
  • A NIOSH-approved gas mask with a canister filter with NIOSH approval prefix TC-14G, or
  • A NIOSH-approved powered air purifying respirator with HE filter with NIOSH approval number prefix TC-21C.
User Safety Recommendations
  • Users should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet.
  • Users should remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.
  • Users should remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.
Environmental Hazards

This product is toxic to aquatic organisms, including fish and invertebrates. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwater or rinsate. See Directions for Use for additional precautions and requirements. Do not discharge effluent containing this product into lakes, streams, ponds, estuaries, oceans or other waters unless in accordance with the requirements of a National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit and the permitting authority has been notified in writing prior to discharge. Do not discharge effluent containing this product to sewer systems without previously notifying the local sewage treatment plant authority. Storage and Disposal

Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal.

Pesticide Storage: Store product in its original container in a cool, dry place away from heat or open flame in an area that is inaccessible to children and animals. Pesticide Disposal: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.

Container Handling: Non-refillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available or reconditioning if appropriate, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or by other procedures approved by state and local authorities.
