Akulon® 

Arnite® PET, polyethylene terephthalate, and Arnite® PBT, polybutylene terephthalate, and blends are high-performance material solutions that combine high strength and rigidity with excellent processing characteristics. 

As a result, Arnite® PET and Arnite® PBT are well suited for a broad range of automotive, electrical and electronic, consumer goods, food packaging applications and more. 

A wide portfolio of Arnite® is available, including unreinforced, reinforced and flame retardant grades. 


Arnite

Arnitel TPC, a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, is used as a lighter, smarter, greener material alternative to conventional rubbers. Because of its excellent characteristics, it offers design engineers exceptional flexibility—giving them the freedom to implement the most innovative product concepts. 

Arnitel has a broad range of hardnesses, making it capable to replace rubbers, metals, leather and other thermoplastics. This thermoplastic elastomer delivers superior chemical resistance, along with heat and wear resistance, plus the ability to be recycled.

Stanyl is a high-performance aliphatic polyamide with a melting temperature of 295°C that due to its high crystallinity and fast crystallization speeds entails three key strengths:

ForTii® 

EcoPaXX® is a high-performance aliphatic, biobased polyamide that uniquely balances the benefits of typical short and long chain polyamides, such as low moisture uptake and high mechanical performance.

It has wide applicability and is especially popular as a PA66 performance booster since it can be processed in the same tools.

EcoPaXX

Xytron PPS is a high-performance plastics compound based on linear polyphenylene sulfide that contributes to three key strengths: heat aging performance up to 240 °C; chemical resistance at high temperature; and dimensional stability. 

This polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) offers excellent chemical resistance, dimensional stability and is intrinsically flame retardant because of its electrical properties. 

Xytron PPS offers high stiffness up to a glass transition temperature of 90°C, with a continuous use temperature between 240-260°C. 

This family of PPS grades is well suited for a broad range of automotive, electronics and electrical, water management and specialized industrial applications.

Akulon® F236-C is a polyamide 6 (PA 6) resin with various features, including being food contact-acceptable, high viscosity, light weight, lubricated, and UL flame-rated. This product finds particular applications in markets such as automotive, transportation, and industrial sectors. This is using the extrusion processing method.

Arnite® TV4 660 SN is a high-performance engineering plastic designed to offer a balance of strength, rigidity, and excellent processing characteristics. This material is well-suited for various applications in the automotive, electrical, electronic, and consumer goods industries. The recommended processing technology for Arnite® TV4 660 SN is injection molding, which allows for efficient and precise manufacturing of components.

Arnitel® PL581 is a high-performance thermoplastic copolyester (TPC) renowned for its exceptional blend of flexibility, high temperature resistance, and strength, complemented by excellent processing characteristics. In industries spanning from automotive to E&amp;E, Arnitel® PL581 is gaining prominence as a more sustainable and efficient alternative to traditional rubbers, leading to reduced environmental impact and lower system costs. This material can be processed using both extrusion and injection molding technologies, offering versatility for various applications.

EcoPaXX® Q-DWX6 is a long aliphatic polyamide with excellent mechanical and flow performance, suitable for food contact and drinking water applications. It offers exceptional chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, a very high melting point, and a high crystallization rate. The material can be processed using injection molding technology. It has good surface properties and meets the requirements for drinking water contact grade. It is also 30% glass-reinforced and meets the standards for food contact quality.

Stanyl® HFX82S is a high-performance polyamide that provides unmatched performance and value for demanding applications in which superior heat resistance, design stiffness, wear and friction, and process flow qualities are required. This high-performance polyamide 46 is used for applications in automotive, E&amp;E, gears, and outdoor power equipment. Since it retains its mechanical properties at high temperatures up to 220 °C, this makes it ideal for extremely high-performance applications, where it outperforms PPA, PA6T, PA9T, and often PPS and LCP. A suitable processing technology for the product is injection molding. Special features include being phosphorous-free.

Akulon® Ultraflow K-FG6 is a high-performance polyamide 6 and polyamide 66 material trusted by customers globally in automotive, electronics, electrical, furniture, and packaging applications. It excels in molded parts, offering a superb blend of design ease and processing efficiency, delivering outstanding mechanical properties across diverse conditions and a wide temperature range. In extrusion, it establishes industry-leading standards, boasting exceptional strength, resilience, and ease of processing. Injection molding is the preferred processing technology, and notable features include 30% glass reinforcement and high flow characteristics.

Akulon® Ultraflow XG-FKGS6 is a high-performance polyamide 6 and polyamide 66 material trusted worldwide for applications in automotive, electronics, electrical, furniture, and packaging. In molded parts, it delivers an impressive blend of design simplicity and processing ease, along with exceptional mechanical properties across a wide temperature range and diverse conditions. For extrusion, it sets industry benchmarks, featuring remarkable strength, resilience, and ease of processing. This product boasts special features including 30% glass reinforcement, flame retardancy (halogen-free), and being best suited for injection molding.

Akulon® CO-KGV4/A JN.00.86 is a polyamide 6 (PA 6) composite material that is 20% glass-reinforced, heat stabilized, and flame retardant without the use of halogen or phosphorous. It is characterized by its lightweight nature and UL flame rating. This material is applied in the automotive and transportation industries for both exterior and interior components, as well as in the electrical and electronics sectors for parts and components, including circuit breakers.
