For industrial, commercial and residential use on sidewalks, driveways, buildings, patios, floors and Walls on surfaces of concrete, brick, stucco, block and stone.
- Job Limitations
Apply in good weather when air and surface temperatures are above 45 degrees F. and surface temperature is at least 5 degrees F above the Dew Point. For optimum application properties, materials should be between 70-90 degrees F. prior to application. Maintain unused material in closed containers in protected storage at 40-90 degrees F. Wear gloves and goggles for personal protection. When Erase Cleaner is used prior to any type of coating, be certain that all traces of residue of Erase are thoroughly removed by scrubbing or pressure washing with several rinses. Do not walk on a surface that has Erase Cleaner puddled on the top-it is slippery! DO NOT STORE IN STRONG SUNLIGHT.
- Application
Surface preparation and application instructions.
- Scrape all loose and excessive glue. Sweep up.
- Spread Erase Cleaner by one of the following methods
- Pour out and spread with a broom
- Pour out and spread with a roller
- Spray on with a compression sprayer
- Cover with polyethylene sheet and allow to lay on surface for at least 1 1/2 – 2 hours or best sit overnight (the easiest). If it is hot or breezy you may need to mist the surface to keep it moist. If floor has a slope to it, Erase will have to be re-distributed from the low areas to the higher areas to re-moisten the high areas. Any vinyl floor backing that may have been left after the removal of old flooring will need to be scraped with a razor scraper after it has softened with the Erase Cleaner
- After the Erase Cleaner has been allowed to soften and penetrate the old adhesive, start to wire brush the softened glue. (This puts cuts and scratches in the softened adhesive and allows the Erase Cleaner to penetrate deeper).
- When the Erase Cleaner has sufficiently softened the adhesive, you may either hose off with a strong stream or pressure wash off (the easiest and fastest).
- Additional treatments may be required on old dried spots or extra thick areas.
Method of Application
Sprayer or mop.
