"Our parent company began in 1982 with the processing of purchased plastic sheets into layer pads. These were at the heart of returnable packaging system for the safe and hygienic transportation of glass containers and beverage cans. Solid plastic layer pads were, and still are an effective replacement for disposable cardboard packaging.
Below is a timeline illustrating how the company developed into its current position as a world class independent manufacturer of premium quality extruded plastic sheet products. ER&GE offers its customers semi-finished plastics tailored for exacting applications: customized PP/PE. These take many forms; extruded sheets and rolls for printing, thermoforming, mechanical processing, lasering, fabricating, adhesion or welding; and of course layer pads.
This often involves project management; working closely with customers to reach an effective method of creating a finished product.

As an independent manufacturer of customer and application-specific extruded polyolefin sheets and film, ER&GE's main markets are in Germany, UK, Scandinavia and wider Europe."

ER&amp;GE (UK) PP-RC is a highly transparent statistical copolymer polypropylene. It has similar mechanical and thermal properties to PP-C, but it is more similar to PP-H in terms of low temperature impact resistance. PP-RC is well suited to consumer oriented areas of application where transparency is an important feature.

ER&GE (UK) PP-RC

ER&amp;GE (UK) PP-C is a block copolymer polypropylene that is highly impact resistant, even at low temperatures. Standard PP-C is slightly less rigid than PP-H, while its other properties are identical to PP-H. PP-C is suitable for a wide variety of applications.

ER&amp;GE (UK) PE-HD is a high density polyethylene with good mechanical properties, especially at low temperatures. It is highly resistant to chemicals and is physiologically harmless. With its variety of material and processing properties, PE-HD is perfect for a wide array of uses, ranging from the manufacture of molded parts to making chemical apparatus and tanks.

ER&GE (UK) PE-HD

ER&amp;GE (UK) PE-LD is a low-density polyethylene. It is a ductile, soft material with high thermal stability at low temperatures, but becoming less stable at higher temperatures. It is physiologically harmless and is suitable for many different sorts of processing, in particular the manufacture of molded parts.

ER&amp;GE (UK) PP-H is a homopolymer polypropylene with good mechanical properties, especially at higher temperatures. It is also highly resistant to chemicals and corrosion. PP-H is physiologically harmless and is suitable for use in the food stuffs industry. Another typical area of application is in the manufacture of chemical apparatus and tanks..

ER&GE (UK) PP-H

ER&amp;GE (UK) PE-MD is a medium density polyethylene with properties somewhere between those of PE-HD and PE-LD. This material is likewise especially suitable for the manufacture of molded parts.

ER&GE (UK) PE-MD

ER&amp;GE (UK) PP-FR flame retardant sheets are manufactured using a natural or colored polypropylene formulation with flame retardation and self extinguishing characteristics that meet or exceed current testing standards, with thermal stability up to approximately 270 °C. The sheets display high levels of strength, low temperature impact strength, heat and heat aging resistance. The material is free from heavy metals, Penta BDE and OctBDE. Flame retardant protection is provided by a brominated organic additive and antimony trioxid as a synergist, used in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended dosing levels.
