Applications & Uses

Main Uses
  • Pulping agent - This product is used in the production of chemimechanical, chemithermomechanical and sulphite pulp. It is a white granular product that is readily soluble in water.
  • Oxygen scavenging and chlorine removal - This product is used in steam boiler water treatment to remove dissolved oxygen and to remove excess chlorine from wastewater. It is a white granular product that is readily soluble in water.
  • Solubilizing agent - This product is used as a solubilizing agent in vegetable tanning. It is a white granular product that is readily soluble in water.
  • Reducing and sulfonating agent - This product is used as a sulfonating agent and reducing agent in chemical process with significant applications for surfactants and polymerization. It is a white granular product that is readily soluble in water.
