Essential Polymers R4188 is a high-solids aliphatic polyurethane dispersion designed to impart superior abrasion resistance. R4188 delivers a combination of film hardness, flexibility and toughness which makes it an ideal PUD for topcoat applications. R4188 is ideal for the formulation as a sealer or topcoat for masonry-type substrates to protect against the migration of soluble salts through these substrates. R4188 has shown to have excellent efflorescence resistance properties.

Essential Polymers R5129 is an acrylic polymer for DTM applications. When formulated it exhibits corrosion, mar resistance and toughness on metal substrates. This product forms fast-drying, medium hard films which are clear and glossy with fast recoatability, water resistance and excellent leveling.

Essential Polymers R4370 is a urethane/acrylic hybrid, is solvent-free; allowing for coatings to be formulated to &lt;100 g/l while still offering a balance of hardness and flexibility. For improved resistance, Essential R4370 can be cross-linked with either a polyaziridine or a trimer. These 2K systems exhibit excellent gloss and exceptional chemical and mar resistance. Essential R4370 has shown excellent adhesion to various substrates; in particular, wood, concrete and cold-rolled steel.

Essential Polymers R4388 is a solvent-free urethane/acrylic hybrid, has been designed for excellent abrasion resistance. R4388 offers a good combination of film hardness, flexibility and toughness making it an ideal polymer candidate for topcoat applications. For improved resistance, Essential R4388 can be cross-linked with either a polyaziridine or a trimer. These 2-K systems exhibit excellent gloss and exceptional chemical and mar resistance.

Essential Polymers R4296 is an n-MP free, highly crystalline waterborne aliphatic polyurethane dispersion used for heat-activated adhesives. Essential R4296 can be used in a single component, heat cured system or as a part of a 2-K curable system.

Essential Polymers R5034 is a very hard, high Tg acrylic emulsion polymer that can be formulated into DTM formulations, as well as, stain resistant waterborne wood sealer. Formulations based on R5034 will give excellent salt spray resistance properties. Also, when formulated into a wood sealer it exhibits excellent resistance properties to coffee, iodine, mustard, tea and many other staining agents.

Essential Polymers R4310 is a 41% solids urethane/acrylic hybrid based on aliphatic diisocyanate and a polyether polyol, has been designed for applications where hydrolytic stability and elastometric properties are required. R4310 is non-yellowing and exhibits high elongation, excellent flexibility and rebound. In addition to extremely low VOC’s, 42 g/l, it is HAP’s-free.

Essential Polymers R4400 is a solvent-free, low VOC, OH-functional urethane acrylic hybrid perfectly suited for formulating into 2-component coatings for wood and concrete. Once properly cross-linked with a trimer; such as, Easaqua 803 or Easaqua XL-600, this coating has superior chemical resistance and unsurpassed mar and scratch resistance properties.
