EverLasting Gravelock 75-660 White

Gravel Lock is a heavy bodied resinous coating to lock loose gravel to the roof substrate. Gravel Lock is formulated to coat and bind loose gravel preventing it from blowing off or washing away. Gravel Lock dries to uniform finish that reduces the porosity of the roof surface. Gravel Lock may also be used to help seal and bind loose chalk and old roof coating.

Gravel Roofs

Application

Apply Gravel Lock by brush, roller or airless spray (2000 PSI and .017 tip).

Coverage

Gravel Lock will cover up to 200 sq.ft per gallon40 mils wet, 1.1 mils dry

Surface Preparation

All surfaces must be dry and free of dust, dirt, oil, Ioose granules, gravel or peeling paint and all other foreign matter. Rusty metal must be cleaned with a wire brush and primed with a suitable primer before application of this product. Pressure washing entire surface is recommended for best results.

Mildew

Remove before painting by washing with a solution of 1 part liquid bleach and 3 parts water. Apply the solution ànd scrub the mildewed area. Allow the solution to remain on the mildewed area for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water and allow the surface to dry prior to painting. Wear protective eyewear, waterproof gloves, and protective clothing. Quickly wash off any mixture that comes in contact with your skin. Do not add detergents or ammonia to the bleach water solution.

Warning! Removal of old paint by sanding, scraping or other means may generate dust or fumes that contain lead. Expo sure to lead dust or fumes may cause brain damage or other adverse affects, especially in children or pregnant women. Control ling exposure to lead or other hazardous substances requires the use of proper protective equip ment, such as a properly fitted respirator (NIOSH approved) and proper containment and cleanup.

Cleanup Information

Clean spills and spatters immediately with soap and warm water. Clean hands and tools immediately after use with soap and warm water. After cleaning, flush spray equipment with mineral spirits to prevent rusting of the equipment.
