ALBIDUR® EP 5340 A is a concentrated dispersion, containing 40% high-performance elastomer within a cycloaliphatic epoxy resin (EEC). This product plays a vital role as a toughness modifier, particularly suited for rigid and brittle epoxy resin systems. The elastomeric component consists of a specialized silicone rubber, intricately distributed within the liquid resin as an extremely finely dispersed second phase.

VISIOMER® c-HMA (Cyclohexyl methacrylate) is a cycloaliphatic monomer characterized by its low viscosity. It serves as a fundamental component in the formulation of polymers that exhibit excellent weathering resistance and chemical resistance. This monomer is widely utilized in industries such as adhesives, sealants, coatings, and composites to enhance the performance and durability of the resulting products. By incorporating VISIOMER® c-HMA, manufacturers can develop polymers with superior resistance to environmental factors and various chemicals, ensuring long-lasting and reliable applications in diverse settings.

TEGO® CYCLE CP 310 is an organo-modified siloxane that is used as a processing additive, compatibilizer, and for permanent modification of polymer properties. Its use provides several advantages for specific applications. It reduces gelling, resulting in lower failure rates, reduces pressure, increases throughput, and prevents melt fracture and shark skin effect. It also reduces surface roughness. TEGO® CYCLE CP 310 shortens cycle times, prevents cut propagation in oriented tapes and films, and improves mechanical performance, including notched impact strength and elongation at break. It also prevents stress cracking and whitening.

Dynasylan® SILBOND® HT-33 is a milky-white, low-viscosity pre-hydrolyzed ethyl polysilicate hybrid binder, boasts a silica content ranging from 32.7% to 34.0% (as SiO2). Formulated for two-component inorganic zinc-rich primers, this material brings about improved toughness and exceptional performance in high-temperature applications. The elevated SiO2 content directly contributes to its enhanced toughness.
