MAXCEL® 777 is an extruded titanium dioxide (TiO₂) claus sru catalyst engineered for very high hydrolysis conversion of CS₂ and COS to H₂S. It demonstrates superior resistance to sulfation poisoning and hydrothermal aging, ensuring long operational life while maintaining consistently high conversion. Typically loaded in part of the first reactor, the catalyst also provides benefits in second and third reactors, especially downstream of direct-fired reheaters or under conditions prone to sulfation. Its performance supports higher space velocities for equivalent sulfur conversion, which may allow smaller claus sru reactor volumes in new or retrofit installations.

DUROCEL® 222

MAXCEL® TGS-01 is a spherical cobalt-molybdenum (CoMo) on activated alumina catalyst intended for use in Claus tail gas treating units that include a hydrogenation reactor, such as SCOT tail gas units. It is designed for operation with a reactor inlet temperature of at least 500°F (260°C). The catalyst can be prepared using actiCAT® TG presulfurization or Ultra-CAT® TG preactivation, enabling a simple and rapid startup of the tail gas treating unit.
