Sodium bicarbonate is a clean source of unchlorinated sodium used in a wide range of animal feeds, including feed manufactured for cattle and poultry. In cattle, the buffering capabilities of sodium bicarbonate help stabilize rumen acids, promoting feed intake and improving the performance of the rumen for enhanced production. FP&S ensures material is suitable for our customers’ needs with policies that adhere to AFIA’s Safe Feed/Safe Food standards and provide material free of foreign matter. We analyze material in our state of the art laboratory to guarantee quality, ensure sodium levels are to spec and particle size is an acceptable range. Routine pH testing is a complimentary service provided by our laboratory staff.
