    Applications & Uses

    EMMITEX® sewing threads

EMMITEX® sewing threads set the standards in sewing of technical textiles, as well as outdoor and architectural textiles. They are used particularly in filter media for industrial gas cleaning and liquid filtration. They possess durability, tensile strength, temperature resistance and absolute UV resistance, and are resistant against alkaline, acids and oxidants.

    Preferred applications are finishing of

    • Filter media for industrial gas cleaning (e.g. filter pockets, filter bags)
    • Filter media in liquid filtration (e.g. disk filters, belt filters, filter press cloths)
    • Outdoor textiles (e.g. awnings, sun protection textiles)
    • Architectural textiles
