    Features
    • Soluble in Aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents, esters, ketones and chlorinated solvents.  Insoluble in alcohol and water.
    • Compatible with Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) polymers, Ethylene Ethyl Acrylate, Styrene-Isoprene-Styrene (SIS), Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS), SBR, natural rubber, butyl rubber, neoprene, acrylic polymers, amorphous polypropylene, alkyds, hydrocarbon resins and terpene resins. Its polymer compatibility allows it to be used as a tackifier/plasticizer in many adhesive systems, particularly where better wetting or low temperature tack is required.

    Applications & Uses

    Suggested Applications
    • Winlex4025 is recommended for a variety of pressure sensitive and hot melt applications, especially where its low glass transition temperature contributes more aggressive tack and better low temperature properties. Itis readily emulsifiable for use in water-based systems. Its low solution viscosity and low volatility suggest uses as a plasticizer or coupling agent in lacquers and high solids coatings.
