Formula-8 Thread Sealant is engineered with mineralized PTFE in a shear-sensitive thixotropic paste that wets into and seals threaded joints with strings of PTFE when torqued. Formula-8 is engineered to seal over the entire thread length for the life of the joint in liquid, gas, and vacuum service.


Formula-8

LOX-8 Grease is engineered to lubricate in harsh chemicals applications where extreme acids or powerful oxidizers are used. It prevents stainless steel galling and withstands high pressures and both high extreme and cryogenic deep-freeze temperatures. It is oxygen-safe, waterproof, and versatile, making it an all-purpose plumbing and O-ring lubricant. Works great with oil-based systems, hydraulic oils, and fuels. LOX-8 is recommended for use as both a lubricant and as a sealant. Use LOX-8 Grease in environments where extended service life is important: medical, nuclear and other high-tech fields including chemical processing, industrial gasses and other aggressive applications. Approved for use in food processing facilities.

LOX-8

LOX-8 NF Oil is a low-viscosity inert PCTFE lubricant. Engineered from oxygenapproved chemistries and allows for lubrication of critically clean surfaces that require black light inspection. LOX-8 NF Oil will not fluoresce under black light.

L0X-8® NF Oil

LOX-8 Full Density PTFE Tape is a multi-purpose and oxygen-approved PTFE tape suitable for use in all situation. May be used alone or with an approved pipe sealant. Approved for use with Fluoramics’ pipe sealants.

LOX-8 Paste is a PCTFE/PTFE thread sealant engineered to work with industrial gasses, cryogenic liquids, and aggressive chemicals. Providing superior performance, LOX-8 Paste allows for easy assembly and disassembly, prevents stainless steel galling, and fills thread gaps to prevent liquid and gaseous leaks. LOX-8 Paste works great with oil-based systems, hydraulic oils, and fuels. LOX-8 is recommended for use as both a lubricant and as a sealant.

LOX‐8 LD Paste, a PCTFE/PTFE paste, is recommended for all applications, including where harsh chemicals such as chlorine or powerful oxidizers are pres- ent. LOX‐8 LD is the product of choice in applications where critical safety and resistance to aggressive chemicals are primary requirements. Providing superior performance as a lubricant and sealant, LOX-8 LD withstands both high extreme temperatures and high pressure. Stable up to 550°F. LOX-8 LD is engineered to seal large diameter pipes, 1” and larger. These products are used in environments where extended service life is important, as well as in chemical processing, industrial gasses and other aggressive applications.

L0X-8® LD

CHEM-8 is an engineered silicone PTFE lubricant &amp; thread sealant for use in water and vapor applications that do not require the use of an oxygen-safe product. Chem-8 is recommended for aluminum against aluminum surfaces. Chem-8® is a great lubricant where sophisticated chemicals are packaged, or where corrosion or rusting is a problem. It is especially suitable for mechanical instruments such as hinges where repeated autoclaving is required. As a superior Silicone-PTFE lubricant, Chem-8 works particularly well for high pressure gasses except fluorine and oxygen. It is waterproof, effective to 300°F, and chemically inert. Chem-8 stays put, lasts indefinitely, and is resistant to autoclave washout.
