FEP is a melt processable copolymer of hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene with superior electrical properties, excellent chemical resistance, and operating temperatures up to 200°C (392°F). Typical applications include high-temperature wire and cable insulation or jacketing, insulation for plenum-rated data cables, cast film, and tubing and injection molded parts for high temperature harsh chemical environments.
FRL FEP is UL recognized (QMTM2 type – file E346136) for use at 100% in wire and cable insulation and jacketing.
