FQS 1.5 Microbicide® is an EPA approved antimicrobial agent used in the control of bacteria and fungi in fuel systems that store liquid hydrocarbon fuels and oils such as: crude oils, petrochemical feed stocks, liquefied petroleum gasses, gasoline, diesel fuel oils, aviation fuels, kerosene, coal slurries, renewable fuel blend stock and renewable fuel blends.

FQS 1.5 Microbicide

FQS THPS75®​​ is a no foaming oilfield biocide with a very low freeze point that makes it ideal for application in colder climates. FQS THPS 75®​ is a 75% aqueous solution of THPS (tetrakishydroxymethyl phophonium sulfate,) which has many advantages over traditional industrial biocides. FQS THPS 75®​ is effective against a broad spectrum of microorganism in both acid and alkaline environments. It is extremely effective against sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB) which is particularly troublesome in the oilfield, causing both corrosion and the release of toxic gas. FQS THPS75®​ has also been shown to dissolve iron sulfide and reduce formation souring.

FQS THPS75® (FQS-5000)​ is a no foaming oilfield biocide with a very low freeze point that makes it ideal for application in colder climates. FQS THPS75® (FQS-5000)

FQS THPC80 (FQS-7069-55) formulation provides enhanced biocidal activity against problem microorganisms, particularly sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB) in oilfield applications. FQS THPC80 can be used in applications where microbiological contamination is present, including injection water, topside systems, drilling muds, packer fluids, completion and workover fluids, pipeline protection, and storage. FQS THPC 80 is insoluble in organic materials and remains in the aqueous phase of oil/water mixtures where microorganisms live. FQS THPC80 provides the benefits of rapid kill, broad-spectrum activity and effective biofouling control. In addition, FQS THPC80 can be used safely in systems where barium sulfate preciptiation is a concern. FQS THPC80 offers ease of handling, system compatibility and simple on-site monitoring.
