The beans shall have a good, typical texture that may be slightly s°Ft or slightly firm; the skins shall be tender.

Color

The product shall have a good color that is reasonably uniform, typical °F Blackeye Peas.

Flavor

The product shall have a good, normal flavor and aroma and be free from objectionable flavors and odors °F any kind.
Microbiology: All products are thermally treated and considered commercially sterile.
