- Product Highlights
Carboxylic (-COOH) and hydroxylic (-OH) groups present in ECOSALT® play an important role in calcium transfer to colloidal soil particles, preventing and correcting salinisation and solidification effects.
Main effects:
- Physical effects: Flocculation. Increases porosity and water penetration.
- Chemical effects: Decreases sodium from colloidal fraction. Increases exchangeable fraction of calcium. Stabilizes soil pH.
- Biological effects: Improves germinations. Promotes root growth and development. Increases calcium availability and block toxic ions.
- Plant Growth Inhibition
Saline Soil
- Conductivity > 4 mmhos/cm.
- % Exchangeable sodium < 15 Toxicity caused by disolved ions.
Sodium Soil
- Conductivity < 4 mmhos/cm.
- % Exchangeable sodium > 15 Colloids formation (compaction) Alkalinity increment.
- Low permeability and poor aeration.
- Germination reduction/root development. Traze elements become insoluble.

It is recommended to apply ECOSALT® before seeding and after transplant. In fruit trees, it is recommended to apply at pre-flowering, flowering, fruit set and ripening. The application can be done via irrigation or directly to soil.
- Dosage
Crop Dosage Tomato, potato, eggplant Apply 10 L /Ha 15 days after transplant.
Perform 3-4 applications at 20 L/Ha every 5 days.Cabbage, strawberry, pepper, zucchini, melon, water melon,
artichoke, lettuce5-10 L /Ha 10-20 days after transplant.
Repeat applications at 20 L/Ha every 15 days.Vid, olive, citrus, cherry 20 L /Ha every 15-20 days during the whole crop cycle or
until the soil is recovered.
