- Usage
Excellent for flashing and expansion joints on built-up or elastomeric roofing systems, decks and below-grade or between slab waterproofing membranes. Appropriate for installation wherever the roofing or waterproofing membrane terminates at walls, parapets, curbs, expansion joints, penetrations, protrusions or where one roofing system ties into another.
- Application
Field curing neoprene is highly pliable allowing ease of application to most shapes and irregularities and thus curing to shape. It may be applied with contact adhesive to concrete, masonry, metal and wood to form a permanent waterproof bond. It can be bonded to elastomeric roofing and waterproofing membranes with Gaco Western contact adhesive or hot mopped into conventional built-up roofing with hot bitumen.
