Galaxy 101 is a non-ionic surface active agent and is mainly used as viscosity booster and foam stabilizer. It provides excellent viscosity building and foam stabilization in anionic surfactant based systems such as shampoos, hand washes and body cleansers. It is also widely used as a lather stabilizer for laundry and dish wash detergents.

Galaxy 101 finds applications in various products. It is used for wide range of applications such as:

  • In shampoos as foam and viscosity booster
  • In bathing bars (syndet and combi-bars), body wash, liquid soap, shower gels, etc.
  • In textile auxiliaries as a scouring agent
  • A rust inhibitor, latex stabilizer, in anti-static compounds, as a water proofing formulation ingredient and as a wax and resin additive
  • In laundry and dish wash detergents as a foam stabilizer for Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulfonates and as an alternative to amine oxides
  • In pharmaceutical and agricultural preparations as a water-in-oil emulsifier
  • It helps in solubilizing perfumes

Galaxy 101 is available in 25 kg paper bags with HDPE liner. Total of 480 bags palletized i.e. 12 MT or 500 bags non-palletized i.e. 12.5 MT can be shipped in 20 ft. full container load.

Storage & Handling Information
  • Store the material in a clean, dry place below 40°C away from moisture, heat and direct sunlight.
  • In original sealed condition, when stored as suggested, the shelf life of the product is at least one year.
  • Drop in pH is possible over prolonged storage. In case of drop in pH, it is safe to use the material as long as the pH is > 8.0.
  • Once the bag is opened, use the product preferably within a week.
  • If stored at higher temperature, the product may melt and come out of the bags.
  • During storage, to avoid lumping, do not stack pallets one above the other.
