Galaxy 111 is a water dispersible and cold processable non-ionic surface active agent derived from diethanolamine and coco fatty acids. It is mainly used as viscosity booster and foam stabilizer. It provides excellent viscosity building and foam stabilization in anionic surfactant based systems such as shampoos, hand washes and body cleansers. The reduced water solubility and melting point of diethanolamides effectively control the dissolution rate in systems such as toilet bowl blocks, synthetic soap bars and various tablet formulations

Galaxy 111 is used for a wide range of applications such as:
- In shampoos as foam and viscosity booster
- In bathing bars (syndet and combi-bars), body wash, liquid soap, shower gels, etc.
- In textile auxiliaries as a scouring agent
- In rust inhibitors, latex stabilizers, anti-static compounds, water proofing formulations, dye - leveling agents, etc.
- A wax and resin additive
- An emulsifier for water-in-oil emulsions for pharmaceutical and agricultural preparations

Spills should be contained / collected and disposed off as per the regulations. Avoid ingestion, contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin and clothing. In case of contact with eyes and skin, seek adequate and timely medical attention.

Galaxy 111 is available in 235 liters HMHDPE carboys. Total of 80 carboys i.e. 18 MT (225 kg per carboy) can be shipped either palletized or non - palletized in 20 ft. full container load.
Storage & Handling

- Store the material in a clean and dry place at 25 - 35°C away from direct heat and sunlight.
- Keep containers tightly closed.
- Product may solidify if stored at < 0°C for longer time.
- If the product becomes frozen in HMHDPE carboys, then keep the same in hot room of 50°C (avoid direct heating).
- Slight drop in pH and free amine is possible over prolonged storage. In case of drop in pH, it is fairly safe to use the material as long as the pH is > 7.0.
- In the original sealed condition, when stored as suggested, shelf life of the product is at least one year.
- During storage, carboys (palletized / non - palletized) should not be stacked one above the other.
