Storage & Handling

Shelf Life
1 year
Storage and Handling Conditions
  • Store the material in a clean and dry place at 25 - 35°C away from direct heat and sunlight.
  • Keep the container tightly closed after the use.
  • If stored at below 5°C, the viscosity may increase and making it difficult to pump.
  • This can be reversed by keeping the same in hot room of 25 - 35°C (avoid direct heating).
  • As temperature below 20°C, the product may starts appearing gel like and viscous.
  • On prolonged storage below 10°C it may appear very high viscous in nature which can be restored by keeping the HMHDPE Carboy in hot room of 30 - 35°C (avoid direct heating).
  • Slight separation may occur during prolonged storage, which can be reversed by stirring, without affecting the pearlizing property of the product.
  • Product tends to have thin layer of foam and scum at the top of the container as the inherent nature.
  • However, this would not affect the quality of product.
  • Once the HMHDPE carboys is opened, use/consume the product within a week.
  • In original sealed condition, when stored as suggested, shelf life of the product is one year.
  • During storage, non- palletized carboys shall not be kept one above the other and for palletized, stacking should be maximum 1+1.
  • During storage, IBC stacking should be maximum 1+1
