Product Applications
  • Store the material in a clean, dry place at 25 - 35°C away from direct heat and sunlight.
  • Keep the container tightly closed after use.
  • In original sealed condition, when stored as suggested, shelf life of the product is at least one year.
  • At temperatures below 20°C, product may start appearing gel - like and high viscous.
  • This can be restored by keeping the carboys in hot room of 30 - 35°C (avoid direct heating).
  • Once the carboy is opened, use the product within a week.
  • Metal containers are not suitable for storing Galaxy 622 as it can corrode the container. Therefore storage tanks made of stainless steel (SS 316) or FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Plastic) are suitable for storing this product.
  • During storage, stacking should be maximum 1+1 carboys / pallet.

Performance Test

Prepare Galaxy 622: Water :: 50 : 50 mixture and build up viscosity by adding sodium chloride. The addition of salt should be done gradually till the desired viscosity is achieved. The salt level should not exceed 2%.

Spill should be contained / collected and disposed off as per the regulations. Avoid ingestion, contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin and clothing. In case of contact with eyes and skin, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention, if necessary.

Galaxy 622 is available in 210 litres HMHDPE carboys. Total of 80 carboys i.e. 16 MT (200 kg per carboy) can be shipped palletized or non-palletized in 20 ft. full container load. It is available in 235 litres carboys. Total of 80 carboys i.e. 18.8 MT can be shipped palletized or non-palletized in 20 ft. full container load. It is also available in 50 litres HMHDPE carboys. Total of 270 palletized carboys i.e. 13.5 MT or 360 non - palletized carboys i.e. 18 MT can be shipped in 20 ft. full container load.
