  • Galaxy™ 796 G-MB can be used with other anionic, non-ionic or amphoteric surfactants.
  • However, due to its anionic character, it should not be used with cationic components like cationic surfactants, cationic dyes, etc.
  • Galaxy™ 796 G-MB is used for a wide range of applications including:
    • In tooth-paste as a foaming agent in a ratio of 1.5 - 3.0% of the total weight
    • In shampoos as a surfactant and as a foaming agent
    • In bathing bars (transparent soap, syndet and combi-bars), body wash, liquid soap, shower gels, etc. as a surfactant and foaming agent
    • In pharmaceuticals as an emulsifier in ointment preparations, as a disintegration agent in tablets, and as an intermediate in synthesis of erythromycin estolate
    • In emulsion polymerization as an emulsifier
    • In detergent powder as a cleanser

  • Galaxy™ 796 G-MB is available in 20 kg HDPE laminated Kraft paper bags with HDPE liner.
  • Total of 560 bags palletized i.e. 11.2 MT or 600 bags non palletized i.e. 12 MT can be shipped in a 20 ft. box container.
  • It can also be supplied in 600 kg jumbo bags. Total of 20 jumbo bags i.e. 12 MT can be shipped in a 20 ft. full container load

Storage and Handling Conditions
  • Store the material in a clean, dry place at below 40°C, away from moisture, heat and sunlight.
  • Keep the bags tightly closed. Since the product is hygroscopic in nature, use the product within a week after opening the bag.
  • In the original sealed condition, when stored as suggested, the shelf life of the product is two years.
  • Slight pH drop is possible over prolonged storage.
  • In case of drop in pH, it is fairly safe to use the material as long as the pH is ≥ 7.0.
  • Agglomerates may form on storage. During storage, to avoid lumping, stack maximum 8 bags (non-palletized) and for palletized, single pallet on ground or in pigeon hole or in the rack.
  • Each Jumbo bag should be stored separately with crates or in the palletized form
