Spill should be contained / collected and disposed off as per the regulations. Avoid ingestion and contact with eyes, skin and clothing. In case of contact with eyes and skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice, if necessary.

Galaxy LAO is available in 200 liters HMHDPE carboys fitted with vent bungs having provision for venting of excess pressure. Total of 80 carboys i.e. 16 MT can be shipped either palletized or non-palletized in a 20 ft. full container load. It is also available in 50 liters HMHDPE carboys. Total of 360 carboys i.e. 18 MT can be shipped palletized or non-palletized in 20 ft. full container load. It can be supplied in IBC (1 MT). Total of 18 IBC i.e. 17.1 MT (950 kg per IBC) can be shipped in a 20 ft. full container load. 23.5 MT of Galaxy LAO can also be shipped in ISO container.

Storage & Handling Information
  • Store the material in a clean, dry place, at 25 - 35°C away from direct heat or sunlight.
  • Carboys / IBC should be fitted with vent bungs having provision for venting of excess pressure due to free peroxide, if any.
  • Ensure release of pressure, if any, before unloading ISO container and emptying HMHDPE carboys / IBC.
  • Product solidifies, if stored at ≤ 0°C. If solidifies, it is recommended to heat the jacketed ISO tank with hot water (55 - 60°C) or low pressure steam (< 2 kgs / cm2  ) to bring the temperature 30 - 40°C.
  • If the product becomes frozen in IBC / HMHDPE carboys, then keep the same in hot room of 30 - 40°C (avoid direct heating).
  • In original sealed condition, when stored as suggested the shelf life of the product is at least two years.
  • Once IBC / carboy is opened, consume the product within a week.
  • When taken in ISO container, it is recommended that material be consumed within one month’s time, after unloading in storage tank.
  • During storage, non-palletized carboys shall not be kept one above the other and for palletized, stacking should be maximum 1+1. During storage, IBC stacking should be maximum 1+1.
