Galaxy LAPB is widely used in Personal Care and Home Care products as a primary or secondary surfactant

  • In hair care products viz. shampoos, conditioners, etc. Galaxy LAPB also provides conditioning property to the formulation. It is substantive to hair. It reduces static charge build-up on hair, prevents hair from “fly-away” effect and imparts good styling characteristics to hair
  • In bath and body-care products like liquid soaps, body wash, shower gels, bubble baths and baby-care products
  • In deodorant compositions and after shave lotions
  • In hand dish wash, detergents, floor cleaners, etc. - Galaxy LAPB is recommended for usage due to its excellent wash and soil suspending power and good tolerance towards high level of detergent builders, electrolytes, alkalis and acids
  • Use concentrations: 3 - 20%

In combination with Fatty Alcohol Sulfates / Fatty Alcohol Ether Sulfates, it shows synergistic properties, building up the viscosity of the formulation.

Galaxy LAPB is available in 235 liters HMHDPE carboys. Total of 80 carboys i.e. 18.8 MT can be shipped either palletized or non-palletized in 20 ft. full container load. It can be supplied in IBC of 1 MT capacity. Total of 18 IBC i.e. 18 MT can be shipped in 20 ft. full container load. It can also be supplied in flexi bags (22 MT) and ISO containers (24 MT).

Storage & Handling Information
  • Store the material in a clean and dry place at 25 - 35°C away from direct heat and sunlight.
  • Keep containers tightly closed.
  • Product solidifies, if stored at ≤ - 8°C for longer time. If solidifies, it is recommended to heat the ISO container with hot water (55 - 60°C) jacket or low pressure steam (< 2 kgs / cm2  ) to bring the temperature 30 - 40°C.
  • In case of flexi bags, heat the flexi  bags with heating pads for 4-8 hours with a steam of pressure 1-2 kg/cm2  .
  • If the product becomes frozen in HMHDPE carboys / IBC, then keep the same in hot room of 50°C (avoid direct heating).
  • In original sealed condition, when stored as suggested, shelf life of the product is at least two years.
  • Once the carboy is opened, ensure airtight closure after usage and use the product within a week.
  • When taken in ISO container, it is recommended that material be consumed within one month’s time, after unloading in storage tank.
  • During storage, do not stack IBC and carboys (palletized and non-palletized) one above the other.
