Storage and Shelf Life Conditions
  • Store the material in a clean, dry place at 15 - 35°C away from direct heat and sunlight. Ensure proper housekeeping and personal hygiene.
  • Keep containers tightly closed. In the original sealed condition, when stored as suggested, shelf life of the product is at least one year.
  • Once the carboy / IBC is opened, ensure airtight closure after usage and use the product within a week. When taken in ISO container / tankers / flexi bags, it is recommended to transfer the material from ISO containers / tankers / flexi bags to sanitized SS storage tank with hot water jacket and also recommended that material be consumed within one month’s time, after unloading in storage tank.
  • Slight pH drop is possible over prolonged storage. In case of drop in pH, it is fairly safe to use the material as long as the pH > 5.0. On prolonged storage below 5°C, if the product becomes non-flowable, then it is recommended to heat the jacketed ISO containers / tankers or flexi bags with hot water of temperature 55 - 60°C for two hours.
  • Do not apply direct steam. If the product becomes frozen in IBC / HMHDPE  carboys then keep the same in hot room at 40°C.
  • During storage, carboys (palletized / non- palletized) should not be stacked one above the other and for IBC, stacking should be  maximum 1+1
